Tea with Joyce Grenfell
2.30pm - Quorn Church Rooms

Hilary Ayling will be taking on the role of Joyce Grenfell and be performing some of her favourite sketches. Refreshments of sandwiches, home made cakes and pots of will be included in the £5.00 ticket price. Caribbean Capers - Quorn Phoenix Entertainers
7.30pm - Village Hall

This year why not come with us to visit the Caribbean? To swim in the warm sea; to laze on the soft sand; to sit in shade of the overhanging palms, and drink.........whatever pleases you. It may take a little imagination, but we can deal with that! Tickets are available from Yvonne Brown tel: 01509 413850. Priced at £6.00 for Friday and £7.00 for the Saturday show (which includes a light supper)

Memories of Joyce Grenfell
1.30pm - Quorn Church Rooms

Quorn WI welcomes Hilary Ayling, with a talk on 'Memories of Joyce Grenfell'. A competition will be held for a momento of school days - why not bring something that reminds you of your school times? We welcome visitors and guests.

21st June 2008 [Saturday]
Quorn Food and Craft Festival
11.00 - 5.30 - Village Hall

For the first time Quorn Food and Craft Festival will be held in conjuntion with Open Gardens. This will be in the Village Hall from 11.00 to 5.30. Quorn Food and Craft Festival is for local food suppliers and crafters, and seeks to promote local suppliers and introduce visitors to Open Gardens to the quality products available in the area. Quorn Open Gardens takes place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 June 2008. In addition to the many gardens open around the village, there will be the plant stall at The Banks, and an Artspace exhibition in the Church Rooms. Open Gardens Passports will be available around the village before the event and at all gardens on the day. Entry to all parts of the event is by Passport only.
